Since 1994, FIM established businesses to develop a source of revenue to allow the ministry to be financially self-supporting and also help Christians fulfill the practical Biblical command to work and provide for their families. The profits made out of these businesses financed almost 75% of the 120 churches planted from 1990-2000.
